To start off with, we brainstormed words that related to media or film. These included words like design, digital, studio, discover etc. This gave us an idea on what we could include in our logo. As well as coming up with words that relate to our company, we researched existing idents and this gave us ideas on how to present our logo as well as other words we can add to our list. We aimed for creative words as this would make our company relate to media and make us sound interesting as a company.

After we listed words and researched other idents we joined two words together to create a company name. We liked the word 'discover' the best so this was included most in the words we joint together. After joining two words together, we decided within the group that 'discover design' sounded the best and also related to our company well.

After coming up with a company name, we then discussed what a good design would look like. We created a few practise logos to see what we preffered and what looked best. This was important as the more ideas we have the better the logo will look overall in the finished product.

As a group we had two favourite final logo ideas. This was one of the favourite logos as it is made creatively and is not too plain but also not over the top. This would be good for our company as it is an eye-catching and distinctive piece of text which would attract an audience easily.

This was another favourite of ours as we loved the text effect as it is slightly gritty and not fully black. The simpleness is effective as it makes it easy to read. Although it is simple, the bold writing is still eye-catching.
