Synopsis: Second Draft

In a quiet street, with the sun rising and the birds singing, a teenager awakes to blistering headache. He begins to suffer from sharpe flashbacks which take him to the night before.  Himslef Jack stewart arrived with girlfriend Gemma walker at a house party to celebrate the ending of the Summer holidays. All of the teenage members are of 18 years old. Jack is a popular young lad who is captain of the football team, he's a friendly boy who doesnt let his popularity go to his head. Gemma is a confident, slighlty arrogant young lady who is also popular amongst peers. Jack unexpectedly sees his neighbour Sophie Jones in the corner of the room whom he assumed would not be invited due to her lack of popularity in comparison with him and the rest of the party guests. Sophie is perceived as a socially awkward individual. Sophie and Jack have known each other since the age of 5, when Jack moved next door to Sophie's house. They used to be very close friends as they also went to the same primary school, although moving to secondary school, Jack developed other interests. However, Sophie has had a crush on Jack ever since she can remember. Sophie was not invited to the party, but sneaked in because she knew Jack was going to be there and hoped he would notice she was there. Sophie approaches Jack offering him a drink which he accepts they talk for a few minutes, before Jack is dragged away by a almost drunk Gemma. Over the night the couple make their way back to Jack's house, Sophie follows them and climbs through a downstairs open window. Jack passes out in the bath tub. Then in the morning Jack awakes and feels disorientated and wonders why he is there and what happened the night before. When he sits up he see's Gemma’s body lying flat on the floor whith colourless skin and, he begins to panic thinking he has murdered her.

It is now the first day back at school, people have heard of Gemma’s death but are unaware of how it happened, many people gossip about Gemma being murderd by Jack.  Jack is sitting alone on a bench when his ex-girlfriend Lucy White approaches him to comfort him. A month of school passes and Jack has found it hard with constantly being accused of murdering Gemma, the police have been into the school numerous times asking to speak to him, which only leads to more gossip and more abuse towards him. Lucy and Jack start to see each other more and more outside of school, mainly becuase Lucy is one of very few people who believe he didn't kill Gemma. He finds it hard at school especially as only Sophie and Lucy are there for him, even the teachers have been treating him differently. He is thankful and appreciative of both and largely relies on Lucy. There was not enough evidence for Jack to be arrested for charges on Gemma's murder, although people at school still voice their opinions to him. However after a few weeks of seeing each other, Lucy explains how she can’t see him any longer as she never had feelings for him and only became close with him again to make another boy jealous.  Jack is hurt by what she say's and feels as though he has no one left for him. Jack notices Lucy's disappearance at school, but decides he wont try and call her becuase of how she acted to him. A week later Lucy is declared dead; murdered in a forest. The police call him in to be interviewed under suspicion of murder. Jack feels as though his world is completly crashing down around him. Although Jack was extremly hurt by the way Lucy felt he never wanted anything to happen to her.

Sophie tells jack that the police have got some kind of evidence, she says it must have been planted and then questions him whether he did do anything to Gemma or Lucy, becuase he was linked to both. Sophie suggest's that his only option is to run away and she will go with him.  Jack accepts this due to fear. Sophie packs her things into a bag, but whilst Jack wait's in her room he notices a familiar bracelet on the floor slightly under her bed. He moves cautiously towards the braclet for a better look, he notices blood over it. Looking underneath her bed he see's out of the corner of his eye a picture of  Lucy and then a picture of Gemma. Their faces are scribbled out as well as psychotic notes saying ‘only I can have him’. He finds other belongs of Gemma's, Lucy's and his own. When Sophie returns to find that Jack has dicovered evidence. She grabs her lampshade and tries to attack him, screaming that if she can’t have him no one can, Jack defends himself and see's a pair of scissors in which he manages to stab her in the stomach. He runs out of the house. Sophie dies due to being stabbed in a vital organ. Her mother discovers her. Later that day Jack is immediately arrested for the murder of sophie Jones, Gemma Walker and Lucy White.

For our second synopsis we wanted to produce a much more detailed version of the first. So here we included a lot of information and a lot more description about the characters as before the characters didn't have personality.
